The lodge offers a beautifully renovated space with a cozy vibe, perfect for a couple's getaway. The lake view from the Superior King Room was breathtaking, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Dining there was delightful, especially the udon soup, which exceeded our expectations. However, there were limited activities available during our visit, the game room was somewhat small, and the noise from the nearby road was occasionally distracting.

Cozy lodge with kayaks, great for quiet getaways. Rooms are a bit creaky. Enjoyed the games room and fire pits.

Breakfast was excellent and flavorful.
Check-in was frustrating with no one at the desk. After waiting 20 minutes, I had to pick up the phone, but the mailbox was full. The shower curtain was on the floor when I entered the room, making it feel unclean. I was disappointed that the bistro was closed for dinner without any prior notice.

missingWrote a review on Nov 05breakfast quality
Unfortunately, there were a few hiccups during the stay. The breakfast offerings fell flat, with cold cooked items and a lack of variety. I found the room's lighting excessively bright and the lack of towel hooks a minor inconvenience. While there was a drinks station nearby, the absence of milk and tea bags proved frustrating for late-night cravings.

We had such a fun time enjoying the cozy fieldstone fireplace with a glass of wine and challenging each other to billiards in the rec room. The sauna and hot tub were perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking to Thundering Falls. Just a heads up, the restaurant was only open on Saturday during our stay, but overall, we can't wait to come back! 🍷
